Jumbled Theories

Is it bad that all of today I kept thinking it was Christmas Eve?  

I guess I should start decorating for Christmas.  :P

I have a giant box (I mean GIANT) of fabric… (I’m thinking scandinavian christmas?)  and have been meaning to make some things up….

I also have a good amount of yarn… sometimes I’m too ADD to crochet anything… other times I shouldn’t be crocheting because I have a million other things to do…. but needless to say…. 9 things of practically never been used yarn… sick.

Embroidery thread…. lets see… I’ve been working on this little christmas ornament for what…. 8 years?!  yea…. that’s intense… 

I have a crapload of stained glass.  I have a couple designs floating around in my head… cool things to do and such… just have no time… and its flipping cold in my garage….

My silk screening things might get revamped soon.  I might/probably have a order for sweatshirts for the BIOLA Club Volleyball.  Within the price quote I gave them, I included enough to re-screen my screens… (they REALLY need it)  and get the better emulsion.  

I have 200lbs+ of clay…. too much!!! (well… you can never have too much of a good thing…. unless you have no place to use it!)  I kinda got artist block at the end of the semester…. and my brain kinda froze over with my cold….  but I have a crap load of ideas…. too bad I don’t have a wheel. 

I have beads coming out my ears… and shrinky dink!! I really want to take this jewelry fabrication class next semester… for pure fun… but I know I’ll go pure broke!!! Silver is expensive… but I have this amazing design concept in my head.  I really have expensive hobbies…  I really would love the torch and it’d be nice to dig out my old dremel tool… where ever it may be…

I have/had a good amount of paper… I used a bunch of it on my last project.  Which was a huge success!!!  

I have some random crafty stuff…. which is kinda strange…. but was for a mini project.  blah.  anyways…

LETS GET DOWN TO THE NITTY GRITTY…

I want to do a lot of things… yet I have 6 website commission orders… annnnnnd have to finish this semester… really though I think I’m kinda over the school scene at fullerton (for now… so good thing classes are almost over)  and with the holidays… my life is getting congested.  At least I sorta inventoried my collection of craft supplies…. sorta…. 

and off to school I go!

Don’t you love it when your computer starts failing after the warrantees expire?   

Anyone need a $2000 website?   or do 4 people need a $500 website….   it’s a bargin and comes from me!!!

I coded this like a pro.  The said client canceled this when I was nearly finished with it… after a year of dashed hope and angry regret of not writing a contract… I finished it so I can use it for my portfolio… hey, I coded it… don’t get your panties in a ruffle… it’s my work I can do what I want with it.    oh and its linked to my site… so gertchen.com/emdanae

Ok… so for those in suspense (all 2 of you) on how I’m going to “fix” this…. this is a kinda solution…. I need to go back over it and soften it up a bit… and then I can trim it maybe… but after 30 min or so of blowing in air to get the major dent out and making a pattern… I reached something that is kind of resolved…. now to find the perfect glaze…… ugh. 

yeaaaaa… probably one of my favorites….

UGH.

somehow… I knocked it off the wheel when I was trying to trim off some of the base…. and then while trying to catch it.. I dented it.  I tried to salvage a bit of it… but I have my reservations…
